Move One Million (M1M) - Bringing Movement and Togetherness to Humanity

Move One Million (M1M) is a free nonprofit organization that aims to bring movement and togetherness to humanity. The program consists of a daily broadcast, where the official 2.5 minute M1M Routine is performed by Chris Powell and his daily guests, followed by a brief mindfulness exercise. The entire broadcast takes less than 5 minutes and leaves participants feeling refreshed, energized, and positive.

The mission of Move One Million is to standardize movement and mindfulness in our culture, making it accessible to every human for improved physical, mental, and social health. The app provides a tutorial to learn the routine, allowing participants to start slow and gradually improve. By joining the daily broadcasts, users can build their streak, increase their rank, and contribute to the daily total of people moving together.

Participants also have the opportunity to participate in the broadcasts by activating their camera to move along with Chris and his guests, or even submit a video recording for a chance to appear in the M1M broadcast worldwide. Additionally, users can invite friends, family, and loved ones to join the movement and register their own community to receive the daily broadcast in advance.

The M1M movements are carefully choreographed with music to engage every major muscle group in the body, taking it through a full range of motions. This helps to stretch and activate muscles, increase blood flow and oxygen, and reduce stress, loneliness, depression, and anxiety. Both standing and seated versions of the movements are available, making Move One Million accessible to people of all ages.
